Strandbeests: Theo Jansen's Wind Powered Robots

This article on Design Boom's website is about huge hand-built robots that use the wind to move. Strandbeest means "Beach Animal" in Dutch. -- You can make a (small) miniature robot yourself! -- There's a video about the robot kit on the website page. -- The kit costs about $10 on Amazon (and some other sites). It's a bit difficult to put together but the directions are pretty good. These robots are part science (engineering) and part art !
